Write Stuff Playwriting & Drama Incubation
**This programme is endorsed under the NAC-AEP and is eligible for the 50 % Tote Board Funding.

This programme presents an opportunity for young people to write, act, direct and stage plays on a competitive national  platform. Students  create stories for the stage through devising techniques and improvisational activities. Every student has an opportunity to be part of the creative process.


Objectives:

1) Make theatre accessible and meaningful to a young audience

2) Inspire and train students in the basic tenets of drama

3) Adopt appropriate body language.

4)
Engage an audience through vocal, physical and facial expressions

5) Improve enunciation for stage presentations

6) Perform original plays (10 minutes in duration)

Themes for the plays can be developed in consultation with the school.
This programme can be held either as enrichment or during curriculum hours.

**Students who have attended this programme are eligible for the annual national Write Stuff Drama and Playwriting Competition held  during Lit Up, S'pore , an emerging writers and performers festival

**This programme is suitable for Pri. &  Sec Schools,  JCs, ITE and Polys

Facilitation Cost

A)   1 Facilitator : 40 Students - $6.50 per student per hour

B)   1 Facilitator : 20 Students - $10.00 per student per hour
