A power-packed introduction to either or both poetry writing and performance. Poetry Slam™ is a fun and engaging alternative for public speaking, oral communication and confidence building programmes. Sessions are engaging and geared at unlocking students' ideas for writing. Templates will be used to induct the students into poetry writing.
For the performance component, skills taught will be drawn from theatre and choral reading techniques. An intra and inter-class competition could be held as part of assembly show.

All participating teams must attend the Poetry Slam™ Coaching Clinic conducted by Word Forward, trademark holder of Poetry Slam™ in Singapore
