Oral Communication:
Stand Up! Speak Up
Life skills programmes offered under this section are geared towards sharpening critical thinking and effective oral communication.
Our highly interactive and engaging sessions will enable the students to develop and convey their opinions using appropriate language. Activities will enthuse them and spark an interest in current affairs. Through the programme, students will have an opportunity to expand their vocabulary and learn to engage an audience reflecting confidence and poise.
Techniques from drama, Poetry Slam™ and storytelling are employed to guide students in understanding the skills required for handling the Oral Paper.
Public Speaking
Students are groomed to be good listeners and effective communicators. Activities that sharpen IQ as well as EQ will be employed during the sessions.

Oral Examination
Although this is the easiest component of the English Exam, students often lack the confidence to tackle it effectively.

Debate
Students learn the art of persuading people through fun and intensive workshops. They will be taken through a range of activities geared towards equipping them with the necessary confidence and critical reasoning skills needed for intelligent repartee.

voice projection and enunciation / strengthening arguments with supportive points and evidence / developing razor sharp rebuttals / note-taking and summarising.
